The scheme Orunodoi 3.0 was brought up by Assam’s Chief Minister Shri Himanta Biswas Sharma to look after the financial stability of women across the state. Under the scheme Orunodoi 3.0 women get a monthly amount of ₹1250 every month to meet up their needs.
The main moto of this scheme is the betterment of the living standard of people and to wipe out poverty from the state. The amount will be transferred directly to the bank account of the applicant. The scheme is curated to provide support to 27 lakh households of Assam mainly focusing on families where women are the bread earners.It is helpful for women with no stable income and have to depend on their family for their needs. Benefits under the schem Orunodoi 3.0
Under the scheme the beneficiary is provided a monthly amount of ₹1250 with an additional amount of ₹150 which equates to ₹1400 every month. The monthly expenses are distributed in the following manner:
- Medicines : ₹400 per month for healthcare expenses.
- Food: ₹200 per month for pulses, ₹150 for veggies and fruits ₹80 for Sugar.
- Other necessities: ₹170 per month fir extra expenses.
- Additional Amount: ₹250 every month if you have enrolled in other schemes as well.
